Michael Jordan was an honors student at North Carolina and made the Dean’s List during his junior year. He majored in cultural geography with minors in both math and history. 

LeBron James played for St. Vincent-St Mary High School, which had no gymnasium, weight room, or indoor practice facility when he attended there. 

Despite this fact, he led them to three state championships before joining the Miami Heat, where he won two more titles. Dwayne Wade went to Marquette after graduating.
